INFORMATION

Precision machined to the highest standard these polished Alloy Heater Control Knobs make a super upgrade for the MK2 MGF only and MG TF with very easy installation.

Fitting alloy heater control knobs

1.  Remove old plastic heater knobs
2. Inside the end of each plastic knob is a metal sleeve, it is important this comes out with the knob.
3. Look in the end of the knob when you remove to make sure it is there. If no sleeve it will be on the shaft of the heater. Get a torch and piece of wire / skewer to bring the sleeve insert to the top then use long nose pliers to remove it being very careful not to drop the sleeve into the controller.
4. This heater knob will not slide on properly if this sleeve is still in place.
5. The new alloy knob has an 2.5mm allen key grub screw, turn this in 1/8th turn and check the fit on the shaft. If loose, remove and repeat. Tighten the grub screw up another 1/8th of a turn.
6. You are looking for a nice interference fit.
7. Repeat for all 3 Knobs
