INFORMATION
MG TF 160 64k MEMS3 full complete engine with early signs the head gasket is failing. Despite this, it has nice quiet VVC mechs and has only done 64k miles. Comes from MG TF 160. Engine is complete with inlet manifold, throttle body, all sensors, full engine loom, oil cooler and all pipes. No fault lights on dash. A nice responsive engine which ran up to temp and switched fans on / off just fine. Nice clean water, oil was going off. These genuine TF160 engines are getting rare now, heads fetch £500+ when reconditioned, looms £150, bottom ends with the 160 pistons £200+ so as a lump if you can sort the head gasket, it is cheap and well worth it especially as the mechs are fine
As with all parts we sell, we are very particular with the complete engines, they need to sound well and be responsive, they are inspected on the ramp whilst running to ensure the head has no oil or water leaks. They are always run up to temperature. If we have any doubts or hesitation, it is stripped for parts and not sold complete.
