2019 saw ‘Topless Around The Peak District’ annual charity car run in aid of UK Homes 4 Heroes celebrate its 5th and most successful year to date with people traveling from all over the country and as far as Holland to take part. Quite a few stayed locally the night before and got together for food and drinks and enjoyed a great evening.
With 80 cars registered for the event, and some people in fancy dress, the run took us through some stunning ‘Peak District’ scenery and with plenty of waves from pedestrians and pips from the convoy, there were big smiles all round. Finishing at The Hurt Arms in Ambergate, we parked in the specially cordoned off area and headed inside for a carvery.
A huge thank you to everyone who came and supported the event, once again the MG community has been extremely generous and the total raised so far is just over £4000
